Finding Grace, no doubt in #periloustimes we need #Godsgrace. We also need His #guidance to help us in our journey in these dangerous prophetic ends of days. If man had never fallen due to sin, Grace would not be needed. For we would have more than His Grace then, we would have the perfection that God intended. But today we are not perfect, even though we think we are. God’s Grace allows us to enter #Hismercy. In these times of chaos and upheaval, we need His Grace, Mercy, and help.

Finding Grace in Time of Need
Finding Grace is truth, and it is paramount. There is no need on this earth that you as a believer in Jesus Christ may have that is greater than your need for God’s grace. It is also even more evident as a follower of Christ that we continue to walk in His Grace and access our Great God in these perilous times. The first time we hear of grace is in Genesis chapter six and verse eight. It is found within the confines of God revealing to us that he had made man. In fact, scripture says “it grieved him at his heart”, Gen 6:6 KJV. What follows is one sentence of the declaration of the Lord that he would destroy man, beast, creeping things, and fowls. The very fact that creating man had caused him to regret doing so is in line with the sheer wickedness of those he created. While many have tried to make this into other doctrines, there is a simple truth. God was sorry that he did create man and he sought to ease this or console this fact. The one caveat was that “Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD”. Noah found God’s kindness or favor. Noah was well-favored by the Lord because Noah was not like society.
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
Genesis 6:8 KJV | FINDING Grace in Time of Need
The ungodly had taken over the known world in Noah’s day. But Peter in his second epistle, chapter two, and verse five calls Noah “a preacher of righteousness” KJV. The fact that the obvious favor of which we know as Grace was important. There is a difference between the righteous and the heathen or ungodly. In America we dress up our faith, religion, churches, temples, and live in this present world. We convince ourselves that God approves of our worldliness and sins. Make no mistake here Noah is incontrovertibly connected to an era of wickedness wherein he and his family were saved from the judgment. Grace is such an important word that we find it 170 times in 159 verses. The New Testament writings of the Apostles used it repeatedly.
James uses it in chapter four and verse six saying “he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble” KJV. This use of Grace is also associated with judgment. Here in Chapter four James is warning those he writes to of their lusts, desires, and friendship with the world. He was not writing to heathen here but to those in the early church. They had become friendly with the world, the very thing the church today is prone to do. However, we ignore this fact totally. I personally have in the past covered the fact of modern preachers, popular pastors and churches who were mouthpieces for the Lord while being a perfect likeness to the world. For them money, fame, and success were why God saves people. The point here is that the enemy of God is the world, and its lusts. Christ came to save sinners from God’s wrath, not give them reason to imbibe in it. Then James lays down the fact that God will resist the proud even those Christians who are in love with the world and refuse to repent believing they are okay. James lays out several points among many in his writings. But regarding grace and the context of his message James chapter four, it pertinently says these things:
Ye lust and have not -vs 2.
Ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain -vs 2.
Ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not -vs 2.
Ye ask, and receive not because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lust’s vs -3.
James chapter Four KJV | Finding Grace in Time of Need
In vs four he calls them “Adulterers and Adulteress” because of their “friendship of the world” which is considered “enmity with God”. Enmity or Gods hostility is the reason for Gods opposition to their relationship with the world. As an adulteress or adulterer would be unfaithful to their spouse, the comparison is clear. The world calls to Christians to romance them and become entwined in a relationship that will end their redemptive connection to the redeemer. Thus, if a Christian is so infatuated with the worlds system and its wickedness then they become an enemy of God. But the apparent reason James mentions this is to tell them of this danger of the world and to give them a pointed scriptural act to perform.
Continuing in Chapter four of James we find more direct commands. Because God gives more grace to the humble and resists the proud, see verse six; there is reason to do the following. That is if you want to get Gods favor and blessing.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the Devil, and he will flee from you -vs 7.
Draw nigh to God, he will draw nigh to you -vs 8.
Cleanse your hands, ye sinners -vs 8.
Purify your hearts, ye double minded -vs 8.
James chapter Four KJV | Finding Grace in Time of Need
This is what we call true repentance. Then regeneration. Then justification. Then Discipleship. Redemption follows when we walk in truth before our God. A.W. Tozer wrote the Pursuit of God. Tozer began his life’s journey following the Lord God after he heard a street preacher in Akron, Ohio. He was seventeen years old and continued to become a seeker of God. He was a self-taught theologian who confirms what John writes in his first epistle, chapter two; verse twenty-seven. That anointing which abides in us through Christ Jesus we “need not that any man teach you: but the same anointing teacheth you.” Here, this does not mean you don’t need preachers, teachers, exhorters, comforters, etc. For those to whom John wrote were to listen to this Apostolic father. While he taught them this truth, it was for a reason; there were few places and people to go to find truth. There were many idols, false prophets, and teachers. John in practical application simply said to study the word which was the letters the Apostles wrote. Pray and seek the Lord, for the Spirit of God would teach them.
Further as we move into this arena of Grace, we do not cover all the aspects of this gift given to man. However, there is a reason we have come this far. These scriptures speak of those righteous and the society of wickedness that surrounds them. As believers we are that light of Christ to the nations. The couriers of the redemptive message to all peoples. Today many come to Christ Jesus. Yet many more fight the message and the messenger.
Nations today are also in chaos amid the many troubles they find themselves in. We find Covid illness, deaths, debate, lockdowns, riots, protests, and more connected to the current plague. The issue is this Covid has a 100 percent safe zone for many people. In fact, the push to cover up the truth of Covid has been ongoing. But that is not what I address here. Troubles will come, nations will be found in turmoil, wars, chaos, famines, starvation, and other virulent diseases.
It is in this landscape for America that we find a lawless political climate. This has created a divided America. Today this nation staggers from an influx of illegals flowing into this nation unabated. The White House does nothing to stop the tide of humanity crossing our border. They do nothing to stop soaring prices. In this, the Biden administration has been the perfect storm to destroy this country. All in less than a year. Yet for America and the nations of men this trouble is the end time shaking. It is happening due to sin. In America, which even today is heralded as a Christian nation, it is not. There are Christians of all sorts here and only God can sort out those whose true Christ nature is evident. To this end he will do. The cure for all concerned within the scope of this article is to listen to hear what the Spirit is saying today.
Today people lust and in America they have been able to get even more to soothe those lusts. No more!
Today people kill, desire to have, and yet many still cannot get what they want.
Be warned America God is watching and shaking all things.
Your comfort zone will surely change.
Focus Points | Finding Grace in Time of Need
Nations and people fight, make war; and in the process do not have. Many do not have because they ask amiss, instead of repentance and faith in Christ they pursue their own lusts. Looking to other Gods. There is only one avenue of Hope here. Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMassiach; the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
Moreover, he is the Savior of the world. The lusts of men, as in Noah’s day consumed their lusts and fed their godless appetites for the world. Today people have more technology, knowledge, and modern developed civilization. Yet we are as much heathen as those in Noah’s day. In fact, I would address this point that we are worse. Read Revelation twenty-two for a summary of the Lord’s conclusion to the book, see verses Eleven through Seventeen.
The points James makes are important to us today! Submit yourselves to God, Trust in Him, Rebuke and resist the devil. Draw nigh to God and keep your faith and eye on the Lord Jesus Christ. Repent fully, forsaking all sin and lusts of the flesh and desires of the mind. This will remove you from the power that lust, and desires have over you. It will not remove the temptation. It will enable you to resist that temptation.
But you will have the power to overcome and rise above the lusts of the flesh and desires of the mind. Walk in the Light of the Lord, see 1st John chapter one. You have a God given freedom to do as you think, desire, or how things please you. The truth here is that you should open the door to tomorrow by faith and not fear. Believing that whatever the day brings you, no matter how troubling; God will make a way for you and your family. However, if your wicked and not a follower of the Lord God and His Christ; then you must repent first and follow the Lord.
The world is needy today and will be even more so tomorrow. While many in America just see our troubles as temporary, be sure the Lord is shaking the nations of men, including this great nation of ours. It has sunk from its former glory.
The same warning the Prophet Isaiah gave Israel is the same one I give to America today. You lose your birthright, to whom did you sell it? Did God put you away? Did he divorce you? No, not at all; for in all these things I tell you this. “Behold, for your iniquities have you sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.” See Isaiah below.
Finding Grace in Time of Need -Closing.
As a believer, you are to believe and trust; for the “Righteous shall live by his faith”! You can look that phrase up, The Apostle Paul quoted it, using Habakkuk’s words. No matter how troubled you are, how troubled America is, or how much the world is in chaos; there is Hope, Help, and the Lord to be there for you.
Now let me refer you to this. There is one who knew of and experienced trouble such as many had ever done. I speak of Corrie Ten Boom. There are many others, but Corrie stands out. Here is a word from her.
Finding Grace in Time of Need is important. Grace was there in the beginning, Noah found grace in time to escape the Judgment. Christ by God’s grace died for our sins. Grace is here now; it was there in beginning when the foreknowledge of God declared the end from the beginning. It is grace given by God who gives humankind the time to repent or not. Judgment comes and this is not new. Scripture reveals to us the truth here.
No matter who you are, God has given you grace to find that relationship with our Father and great God through His Son who died for the sins of all people. Be cautioned, God’s Grace will not last forever, so do not delay coming unto Him today.
Here are some more scriptures which can be of encouragement to you!
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
(Heb 4:14-16)
Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
(Php 4:6-7)
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
(Isa 55:6-7)
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: Which in time past were not a people but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
