Power of Faith over Fear was seen among the Apostle Paul and those who worked with him. In the Roman Empire there were wicked people, unreasonable individuals, and faithless people. We see idols, political intrigue, and persecution occurring. There were those enemies of the gospel that followed Paul around trying to get the people to stop them from preaching the good news. Never had a society seen such a power of faith. Paul wrote the leaders at the church in Thessalonica and covered many issues at that time. But one thing stands out, Paul said in concluding the epistle “Finally, brethren, pray for us.”

Today many may ask prayer, but in the modern societies in the nations of men there are many who take it lightly. I have met many who will pray but are disbelieving. Even churches and leaders have taught that those miracles and signs done in the Apostolic time are not done today. Even so, Paul was a true believer and had witnessed firsthand on the road to Damascus the Lord Jesus appearing to him. He went blind and then a disciple came and prayed for him, Paul recovered. In those days of the early church many miracles, signs, and wonders were done in the mighty name of our Lord, because those praying had faith in the name of Christ Jesus.
Moreover, the Apostle Paul wanted the Thessalonians to pray that Paul and his group would “be delivered from unreasonable, wicked men; for not all men have faith. But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil; -context 2nd Thess 3:1-5.” As with Paul then, today there are many unreasonable and wicked persons who pursue those in gospel work.
And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. 2nd

We began a long time ago in the mid 70’s to truly serve the Lord. Both Tower and I had been raised in nominal Christian churches. Later, after the Lord delivered and truly saved us; we were led on a path following the Lord. But since that day, we can vouch of the power of prayer, the truth of deliverance, and the mighty force of the power of faith. It is this faith that it was in the early beginning of the WIBR/WARN Radio that on a particular morning the Lord put it in my heart to open the door to tomorrow with faith.
That is, instead of fear, trepidation, nervousness, or other issues; we would open it by faith believing the Lord would make a way for me, my friends, my family, and ministry; no matter what came. It was not that I feared, I did not. But we had been warning people for many years. It was in the early beginnings that the Lord made known to me that “America as I knew it would cease to exist.” For decades nothing happened, yet the words and vision never went away. As we moved past the year 2000, we saw things changing in this nation as never before. Today, we can really see that America as I knew it is gone. But in the context of the message to me so long ago; it will get worse. To survive, we must draw ever closer to the Lord, his Word, and Promises.
But there is nothing we can do about what comes or what is occurring today. There are many issues in America today and short pithy prayers will not dissolve the wickedness, principalities, and powers fighting Christians today worldwide. This is especially true about America. Fence sitting Christians, Pastors who refuse to stand against evil, Preachers not preaching the gospel, and the failure to realize that Holiness and walking in the light as He is the Light; per 1st John chapter one; is important.
Today the power center in America is a liberal tech industry backed by billionaires who want to remake this nation into a globalist Marxist state. Then there are the political parties. I have been warning of the godlessness, division, and rampant sin in this nation for many years. Whether you like it or not, this nation is beyond hedonistic. Today, it is a Satanist stronghold, a Laodicean church riding the beast to glory, and a people who have not one clue as to the true darkness that is now over our nation.
Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Psa 27:12-14 | Power of Faith over Fear
David was the warrior King. He knew what it was like to face the impossible task of defeating an enemy too tough to beat. Yet he did. The most infamous story we know from the bible is the famous event described revealing how David defeated Goliath. Further as David would take care of the flock, he also faced many dangerous animals looking to steal one of those he was caring for. He would fight off the enemy to save his flock. God said when choosing David that this young man was his choice. The Lord had seen in David’s heart the kind of man he was.
Thus, the Lord trusted him. But we see in Psalm 27, a conflict that came at David. F.B. Meyer says of this event that it probably dates from the time when the now exiled King was “surrounded by unscrupulous foes.” In his hiding place, he could see Jerusalem. When we see David saying, “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the Living”, vs13, Psalm 27. I particularly like this verse because it defines all of us. What use is it to keep going on if there is no hope. Hopelessness is the fuel for defeat and oppression. David, surround by enemies saw that despite what the current circumstances were; he would believe to see the “goodness of the LORD [covenant name] in the land of the living.” There was the place of Gods abode, sometimes seeming too far away to help. Yet David saw the goodness or grace or favor of the LORD towards him to turn the situation around.
Further, look at verse one of this chapter 27 of Psalms. The Warrior King David said “the LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall, I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; whom shall I be afraid.” The word Light here represents all the LORD was to David. The very one to whom David saw as the true and Living God, who shone the truth of LORD into David’s heart. It was about Sonship, relationship, trust, and never giving up or giving in. David knew, despite the situation or the cause; whatever it was, that his God would deliver him.
A long time ago I knew a successful businessman. He was a Christian, family man; and had been at his family’s business for many years. During a rough patch we were talking, times in America were not good for his business at that time. Things looked bad. Yet he said, “You know, if only one piece of equipment was sold in America, I believe that I would sell that piece.” Now you may think him arrogant, but people depended on him, his family trusted him, and despite trouble; he was going to believe the Lords favor would get him through. He believed. Well, he did make it through and in years to come retired, sold his business. I have not seen him since, but know he is fine. I run into his son occasionally and I make a point to ask about his dad. “Fine”, he says of his dad.
David is just one, as is the Apostle Paul is another we find in scripture. They really lived; they were not perfect. In addition, the same God then; is today in charge.
It is here that we must look at the issues we face. Pick-up the mantles of trust and faith. Then set out to assail the gates of heaven with prayer. Pray for the brethren overseas, pray for your family, and pray for your nation. Yet you must be prepared to assail the powers of darkness, the forces of evil who are bent on destroying this earth. You bind these, pray against these forces and specifically bind those actions that are going on which are contrary and evil oriented.
As events unfold that will affect America in many ways; as believers in Jesus Christ we must be persistent in fasting, prayer, and continual faith also is a must. In America, many have made lots of money. Many in Hollywood seem contented to see the division going on today. Money for many is a comfort and they believe whatever occurs; they will be okay because they have money and power and influence. Do not believe it for a moment. America will not stand until and unless; Christians rise by the tens of thousands and bind these forces of darkness. There is the Power of Faith and that is found in our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and by faith in that name. Demons tremble at that name, the turbulent seas quieted down, the dead were raised, and even Pilate said unto the Lord at his inquisition “what is truth?” Then Pilate said to the Jews outside who wanted the Lord dead “I find no fault in Him.” Today, that Lord who went to the cross is coming back to put down all evil, bring in His kingdom, and to once and for all; put the devil and the darkness, along with death and hell forever in the lake of fire.
We stand today on the edge of the greatest event in history, but before the Lord comes, darkness will come to the harvest. We will witness it all. But although the darkness is here, the power of prayer, faith, and the name of Jesus Christ has never lost its eternal power. The only thing that can destroy your victory is fear; for fear brings down faith; which leaves you helpless. That is exactly what the devil wants. It is also what evil men and women want. They want you to be quiet, be silenced, and shut up. To get you to be afraid of them is their goal. That is why, I say to open the door to tomorrow by faith and not fear. For the Lord is on the throne. He is our deliverer and knows those who are his.
One Psalm I want to mention here before I end. See Psalm 107 where we find the psalmist outlining what has occurred with the redeemed of the LORD. Here we find the writer outlining the experiences of Israel. Make no mistake Israel got into a habitual routine of falling away, being routinely chastised by the Lord for it; and then Israel repenting. In Psalm 107 the writer details the experiences of Israel. Verses 8, 13, 19, and 28 detail the following!
Psalm 107 details these. Here in verses 8, 13, 19, 28, we find the people falling away from the Lord, getting into trouble.
Then in the same verses 8, 13, 19, 28, all say “they cried unto the LORD in their trouble and he delivered them out of their distresses.”
Then the psalmist points out and says, “praise the LORD for his goodness.” They should do that, after all they rebelled, went their own way, forsook the Lord. Then find themselves in trouble and could not deliver themselves. Then they cry unto him and he delivers them.
The Psalmist from verse eight to the end puts in this phrase over and over. The fact is that the examples here relate to people today. Not only do they get in trouble or find themselves with something that has attacked them; we need to recognize that this God will do wonderful works for the children of men.
Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! You will find the previous phrase also repeated in this same Psalm. It is a testimony to life, troubles, repentance, and a God who loves us.

In closing, I leave you with these closing scriptures. Now, open your door to your tomorrows with faith and not fear. Trust the Lord and go forth in the name of the Lord; whatever happens we are his, He is ours. Read these to understand overcomers and the Lords warning. It is this faith that it was in the early beginning of the WIBR/WARN Radio that on a particular morning the Lord put it in my heart to open the door to tomorrow with faith.
That is, instead of fear, trepidation, nervousness, or other issues; we would open it by faith believing the Lord would make a way for me, my friends, my family, and ministry; no matter what came. It was not that I feared, I did not. But we had been warning people for many years. It was in the early beginnings that the Lord made known to me that “America as I knew it would cease to exist.” For decades nothing happened, yet the words and vision never went away. As we moved past the year 2000, we saw things changing in this nation as never before. Today, we can really see that America as I knew it is gone. But in the context of the message to me so long ago; it will get worse. To survive, we must draw ever closer to the Lord, his Word, and Promises.
But there is nothing we can do about what comes or what is occurring today. There are many issues in America today and short pithy prayers will not dissolve the wickedness, principalities, and powers fighting Christians today worldwide. This is especially true about America. Fence sitting Christians, Pastors who refuse to stand against evil, Preachers not preaching the gospel, and the failure to realize that Holiness and walking in the light as He is the Light; per 1st John chapter one; is important.
Today the power center in America is a liberal tech industry backed by billionaires who want to remake this nation into a globalist Marxist state. Then there are the political parties. I have been warning of the godlessness, division, and rampant sin in this nation for many years. Whether you like it or not, this nation is beyond hedonistic. Today, it is a Satanist stronghold, a Laodicean church riding the beast to glory, and a people who have not one clue as to the true darkness that is now over our nation.
David was the warrior King. He knew what it was like to face the impossible task of defeating an enemy too tough to beat. Yet he did. The most infamous story we know from the bible is the famous event described revealing how David defeated Goliath. Further as David would take care of the flock, he also faced many dangerous animals looking to steal one of those he was caring for. He would fight off the enemy to save his flock. God said when choosing David that this young man was his choice. The Lord had seen in David’s heart the kind of man he was.
Thus, the Lord trusted him. But we see in Psalm 27, a conflict that came at David. F.B. Meyer says of this event that it probably dates from the time when the now exiled King was “surrounded by unscrupulous foes.” In his hiding place, he could see Jerusalem. When we see David saying, “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the Living”, vs13, Psalm 27. I particularly like this verse because it defines all of us. What use is it to keep going on if there is no hope. Hopelessness is the fuel for defeat and oppression. David, surround by enemies saw that despite what the current circumstances were; he would believe to see the “goodness of the LORD [covenant name] in the land of the living.” There was the place of Gods abode, sometimes seeming too far away to help. Yet David saw the goodness or grace or favor of the LORD towards him to turn the situation around.
Further, look at verse one of this chapter 27 of Psalms. The Warrior King David said “the LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall, I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; whom shall I be afraid.” The word Light here represents all the LORD was to David. The very one to whom David saw as the true and Living God, who shone the truth of LORD into David’s heart. It was about Sonship, relationship, trust, and never giving up or giving in. David knew, despite the situation or the cause; whatever it was, that his God would deliver him.
A long time ago I knew a successful businessman. He was a Christian, family man; and had been at his family’s business for many years. During a rough patch we were talking, times in America were not good for his business at that time. Things looked bad. Yet he said, “You know, if only one piece of equipment was sold in America, I believe that I would sell that piece.” Now you may think him arrogant, but people depended on him, his family trusted him, and despite trouble; he was going to believe the Lords favor would get him through. He believed. Well, he did make it through and in years to come retired, sold his business. I have not seen him since, but know he is fine. I run into his son occasionally and I make a point to ask about his dad. “Fine”, he says of his dad.
David is just one, as is the Apostle Paul is another we find in scripture. They really lived; they were not perfect. In addition, the same God then; is today in charge.
It is here that we must look at the issues we face. Pick-up the mantles of trust and faith. Then set out to assail the gates of heaven with prayer. Pray for the brethren overseas, pray for your family, and pray for your nation. Yet you must be prepared to assail the powers of darkness, the forces of evil who are bent on destroying this earth. You bind these, pray against these forces and specifically bind those actions that are going on which are contrary and evil oriented.
As events unfold that will affect America in many ways; as believers in Jesus Christ we must be persistent in fasting, prayer, and continual faith also is a must. In America, many have made lots of money. Many in Hollywood seem contented to see the division going on today. Money for many is a comfort and they believe whatever occurs; they will be okay because they have money and power and influence. Do not believe it for a moment. America will not stand until and unless; Christians rise by the tens of thousands and bind these forces of darkness. There is the Power of Faith and that is found in our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and by faith in that name. Demons tremble at that name, the turbulent seas quieted down, the dead were raised, and even Pilate said unto the Lord at his inquisition “what is truth?” Then Pilate said to the Jews outside who wanted the Lord dead “I find no fault in Him.” Today, that Lord who went to the cross is coming back to put down all evil, bring in His kingdom, and to once and for all; put the devil and the darkness, along with death and hell forever in the lake of fire.
We stand today on the edge of the greatest event in history, but before the Lord comes, darkness will come to the harvest. We will witness it all. But although the darkness is here, the power of prayer, faith, and the name of Jesus Christ has never lost its eternal power. The only thing that can destroy your victory is fear; for fear brings down faith; which leaves you helpless. That is exactly what the devil wants. It is also what evil men and women want. They want you to be quiet, be silenced, and shut up. To get you to be afraid of them is their goal. That is why, I say to open the door to tomorrow by faith and not fear. For the Lord is on the throne. He is our deliverer and knows those who are his.
One Psalm I want to mention here before I end. See Psalm 107 where we find the psalmist outlining what has occurred with the redeemed of the LORD. Here we find the writer outlining the experiences of Israel. Make no mistake Israel got into a habitual routine of falling away, being routinely chastised by the Lord for it; and then Israel repenting. In Psalm 107 the writer details the experiences of Israel. Verses 8, 13, 19, and 28 detail the following!
Psalm 107 details these. Here in verses 8, 13, 19, 28, we find the people falling away from the Lord, getting into trouble.
Then in the same verses 8, 13, 19, 28, all say “they cried unto the LORD in their trouble and he delivered them out of their distresses.”
Then the psalmist points out and says, “praise the LORD for his goodness.” They should do that, after all they rebelled, went their own way, forsook the Lord. Then find themselves in trouble and could not deliver themselves. Then they cry unto him and he delivers them.
The Psalmist from verse eight to the end puts in this phrase over and over. The fact is that the examples here relate to people today. Not only do they get in trouble or find themselves with something that has attacked them; we need to recognize that this God will do wonderful works for the children of men.
Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! You will find the previous phrase also repeated in this same Psalm. It is a testimony to life, troubles, repentance, and a God who loves us.

In closing, I leave you with these closing scriptures. Now, open your door to your tomorrows with faith and not fear. Trust the Lord and go forth in the name of the Lord; whatever happens we are his, He is ours. Read these to understand overcomers and the Lords warning. Revelation 12:11, Revelation 22 [context scriptures]

He is able to do exceedingly Abundantly above all that we ask for think, according to the power that works in us!
