Lawless World Christian Living brings us to a stark contrast. Scripture gives us warning that is stark, “because iniquity [wickedness, lawlessness] will abound, the love of many will wax cold.” The Lords warning is to those who would be living in the last days. But also, to the early church, it was a time of iniquity and lawlessness. This pervaded every aspect of their lives. This shaped their Hopes, Dreams, and Visions of life and how they could fulfill it. Whatever the case of those living in these last days the real issue would be wickedness and lawlessness. Amid this lukewarm and lawless society, the gospel would go forth! Despite the fact society at this time seems to break down, there are those destined and anointed to spread the gospel no matter what. This is the fulfillment of end time scripture and prophecy.

“By God’s grace, we endure from faith to faith; day to day, and pass by from trouble to endurance to an overcomer!”

Lawless World Christian Living
Lawless World Christian Living brings many Christians into the standards of the World and of Christ Jesus. We have Hopes and Dreams yet living for Christ we need Vision. Scripture points out that “Where there is no vision the people perish.” This is found in the first portion of Proverbs 29:18. I remember our Pastor preaching on that verse to us. As a church community we needed a vision. That vision was wrapped up in our calling as believers to do as our Lord did. We were to reach out, have love, compassion, but also tell the lawless they must repent. This verse, though; is not just about having a vision. In fact, this sits next to the major portion of it which says, “but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Wow! Most Christians today will not even discuss the law for fear of going to hell. The misapplication of the law in today’s modern churches is astounding. Our Lord said he did not come to destroy the “law but fulfill it”, which is found in Matthew 5:17!
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Mat 24:12-14
His work on the cross fulfilled the law. Because of his work, we do not worry or attach our responsibilities to the keeping of the sacrifices of the law. We have mercy today, a path to repentance, and a relationship can be bonded to the Father through Jesus Christ. It is that Grace is accessed by Faith; for without Faith and being able to believe that God really exists we cannot know Him. This Faith is paramount for without Faith we cannot please God. Both the Grace or favor of God and the Faith we use to approach Him could not be possible without God’s mercy towards us all. This mercy flows out of the Love of God and of His only begotten Son who gave himself as a ransom for many.
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
Gal 3:22-25
Because of his work and enabling us to walk in him; the Law is not an enemy but a schoolmaster. It is used to bring us to Christ and to the Father. Paul details the work of God concluding all under sin in Romans 11. As Paul says of it “For God has concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all”! When the Lord came, he faced down the High Priest, Sanhedrin, the Pharisees, Sadducees, and the Lawyers of his day. He challenged them on the law. In one case, Jesus healed a man of dropsy on the sabbath.
According to Barnes notes, this disease was produced by the accumulation of water in various parts of the body which would be very distressing and commonly incurable. The lawyers and Pharisees watched him close. Then the Lord turned to them and asked “Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit and not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day;” Luke 14:5. Of course they said nothing, for they could not defend themselves. They knew very well the hypocritical nature of their own actions.
Further we find the Lord using a whip to clear the temple of those who were defiling it saying, “make not my father’s house a house of merchandise,” John 2:16. The very ones who should have known the law, in fact did not keep it. The Lord warned the Pharisees and scribes when they found fault with the Lords disciples over unwashed hands. They did this to catch the Lord in fault. But listen to his words challenging the so called ‘law keeping leaders among the Jews.’
It is tradition that flatly has replaced the bible, commandments, and teachings of the Lord. Adding to the bible, replacing the bible truths with more convenient phrases to please men. Finally adding more to the law, commandments, and teachings to fully comply with some Rabbi, Priest, or Pastor. [Here I address that both the Jewish Rabbi and the Priest; right along with Christianity has done this] This has been going on since the time of Christ. Paul said that when he would go to be with the Lord, “grievous wolves would enter in not sparing the flock”! This they did and today we have the result of many churches forsaking the true Apostolic teachings the Lord had given them.
The truth of what the Lord said and of Christians today comes together in the summation and example he gives. The Lord pointed out “That which comes out of the man that defileth the man.” It was not exterior uncleanliness, unwashed hands, not keeping the sabbath etc. It was the fact as the Lord pointed out. Within men, within the human; yes, this is where evil things proceed from. Here is his quote:
And he said That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
Mar 7:20-23
This bluntly addresses the issues that defile and are sin, which are listed as: “adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, blasphemy, pride, foolishness and more.” Yes, they all are sin and proceed out of men. It is not okay to be a Christian or anyone for that matter and think your fornicating and deceit will not bring judgment upon you. It is not okay to commit adultery or to murder. These are the problem and through Christ we can live above these things. God did not send Christ to die for your sins and make a way for you to live in sin but to live above it, rid it out of your life, and walk blamelessly before him. The Whore church though will live both in fornications and all this evil while at the same time saying it is okay because Jesus died for you. God calls the believer out of these things.
Today through Jesus Christ we have a way unto the Father and a way to please God. But we do not have a way to sin willy-nilly, i.e. “Freely sin.” This is a continual sinning and on purpose, i.e. the more you sin the more grace will cover it. The problem is “God is not mocked for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap,” Galatians 6:7. As Paul asks regarding this “shall we continue sin, so grace may abound?” “God forbid” the Apostle answers. You can find this in Romans 6:1-2. As Jesus directly told us in John 15 and verse nine; “continue ye in my love.” He then told us how to do this in verse ten saying “if you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love.”
Sixteen New Testament Apostolic directives
Furthermore, the Apostles taught out of the Old Testament, the Tanakh, the prophets, and the Torah. Yet they did not teach being justified by law, but by faith. They knew that “Abraham believed God” and it was “counted unto him for righteousness;” Romans 4:3! But they also knew the Holiness of the Lord and the Judgment of the Lord. Hear the words of the New Testament on all this! Here are Sixteen Scriptures, all found at the end of each Epistle. Consider that in wrapping up their writings; these are the things they want their readers to remember in their summation and goodbye. These scriptures are found in the epistles ending summation and directives at the end of each book.
Sixteen New Testament Apostolic directives to help you make it through the Evil days in which we live.
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God -3rd John 1:11 Follow Good, doing evil means you do not know the Lord
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son -Second John 1:9 Abide in the Doctrine of Christ means both the Father and the Son
And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life – First John 5:19-20 The contrast: the world lies in wickedness, but we are of God and found in his Son Jesus Christ
(17) Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness – Second Peter 3:17 Peter warns us about “being led away with the error of the wicked
Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body – Hebrews 13:1-3 Let brotherly love continue remember those in bonds
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables – Second Timothy 4:3-4 People will not endure sound doctrine
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out – First Timothy 6:5-7 Godliness with contentment is great gain
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil– 2nd Thessalonians 3:3 The Lord is faithful, he will establish you, he will keep you from evil -Follow that which is good unto all men

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving – Colossians 4:2 Continue Prayer, Be watchful, and be filled with thanks
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things – Philippians 4:8 Think on these good and virtuous things
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand – Ephesians 6:13 Take upon yourself the defense of the whole armour of God
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting – Galatians 6:7-8 Be not Deceived, God is not mocked
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates [unapproved, worthless morally, rejected]? Second Corinthian’s 13:5 Examine yourself to make sure you are in the faith of Christ Jesus
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity – 1st Corinthian’s 16:13-14 Be Watchful, stand sturdy and strong in the faith
Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith – Romans 16:25-26 This is the Truth to which we stand
Lawless World Christian Living brings us to reality. Afterall, we have dreams, visions, and hope. We want to live a life for Christ Jesus and be a Christian that can reflect our Lord. In this we have those hopes of things we want to do, accomplish, and get done. We also have our dreams, which are the visions of the goal and idea of where we want to be or get to. By the time we meet our maker, and this life is done; these dreams, visions, and our hope all meet in a common bond that can reflect who we are.
Furthermore, we live in a lawless world. The era of the last days would be lawless [against God, his laws, immoral], full of wickedness, and many would become lukewarm. This tepid coolness to the things of God is indicative of the Laodicean Church. They had religion but did not affect an honest review of the Lord over their condition. They thought they were rich and in need of nothing but in truth the Lord said, “they were wretched, poor, blind, and naked”!
But in all this let us not forget that to live is Christ and to die is gain. Whether we live therefore or die, we are Christ’s! Let him direct your dreams, visions, and hopes.
We have Overcome.
Revelation 12:11
They overcame by the blood of the Lamb, the Word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Thanks Watchman…we do indeed live in a lawless world. Make no mistake, the world is chasing after the lusts of the flesh, and the pride of life. We are a called out people, a peculiar people, set aside from the lusts of the world. All of these points that you summed up, are all very valid points! If one follows them, they absolutely work! If we say that we love Him, then we will not hesitate to keep His commandments. To make sure that one does not struggle/stumble, saturate your mind with His Word. Yes, reading, but I also play the audio King James book of Psalms and Proverbs. While going along with day to day functions, that Godly loop keeps saturating my mind, as the subconcious is soaking it all up. All good points that you brought in this writing…thanks again, Watchman. The Lord’s peace to you and Tower…Amen.
