The Highway of our God is a pursuit. Governments of men have their agendas. Here, the Lord God called the end from the beginning. He also gave his born-again children a look into that future, it is called prophecy. It seems in the last couple of decades, every year we always seem to be on the brink of chaotic global war. For many years radicals have made war globally. Christian genocide is occurring in the world, while nations face cataclysmic storms, floods, and unrest. In America, the division is clear cut. We saw the change with Barack Hussein Obama for Eight years. They when President Trump was in the White House. Democrats and liberal media were schizoid nuts and in hate mode. Yet for this President, his term was historic. Now with Biden the inmates of the Psycho ward have taken over the reins of the American Government, the border is open, the cities lawless, and in the Dem’s world, “everything is fine.”

The Highway of our God

It is one thing to have Hope, it quite another to let it rise in your spirit in spite of all odds against it. Today we have myriads of challenges and troubles that daily beset us; yet as we press forward towards another day, another week, and another month, let us allow Hope to rise in our hearts. Whether it is a personal issue, social issue, or politics in general that get you down; there is always reason to Hope. Hope is action. Anyone can sit around in despair and be in the Mulley-grubs, as we call it! It takes courage to Hope and courage to tread the path of life and keep Faith. Many have some kind of Faith, but as Christians our Hope lay in the Son of Almighty God and Our Father. This is Jesus Christ, [Yeshua] who died for our sins and making a way for us in this Hope. We have both destiny and salvation. But we also have in this life, a Savior, a Lord, and one who said, ‘be of good cheer, I have overcome the world’. His victory is ours today, right now, and at this very second you read this.

Having Hope Traveling on the Highway of our God

In addition, as we have this Hope, let us set it steadfast in our hearts as we travel the Highway set before us. It is this time as you will find out that is challenging, unlike any other, but a Highway that you and I travel as disciples of Jesus Christ our Lord. When my wife and I were much younger with small kids, we loved to drive at night. I remember many a night on the road coming from college and being on one of these drives. At the time we had a large van, and it was made for the kids. They could sleep on the seats in the van easily. At night, the road would stretch out before us. I had music on in the background which played softly. Before us, the headlights would light the road and in this journey at night, we only beheld the road which the lights illuminated before us. We learned though to not worry about those things we could not see. It was night, after all!

Moreover, we could see the stars, moon, cities, and farms, in the night drive. We also enjoyed the going down of the sun before the night came. Then in the early morning hours the sun would come up and the day would stretch out before us and suddenly we could see the rest of that which was hidden. It was during these long drives we would talk. These took the form of many things: theology, family, events, and just small talk. But it was that time when the kids were asleep, the busy day was hushed, and we could be alone and just enjoy each other. We thoroughly enjoyed these times. When driving to certain destinations it would take many, many hours, so the drives at night were special to us.

I can remember as a boy with my own mom and dad. They too, would drive at night. The road being long in the drive to California from our home in Wyoming made traveling at night an event to remember. I usually fell asleep on the back seat. I remember waking up as a small child and mom and dad were gone. I was in the car alone and looked up and saw a small roadside diner. It had a couple of gas pumps and a place for mom and dad to stop and get coffee. They would gulp it down then bring a cup with them for the journey ahead. Some 15 hours later we would drive into the grandparents’ place in Northern California.

In this my friends, you and I are on a journey as well. In this journey many people find themselves on the Highway of the Lord God which is that special place in the end times. You could say it is pre-arranged by divine appointment. You also could say it was and it’s directly given from the Lord God. It is that Highway which is spoken of in the scriptures, and it is that which was declared from the beginning.

Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and before time, that we may say, He is righteous? yes, there is none that sheweth, yes, there is none that declareth, yes, there is none that heareth your words.

Being in that time of the last of the last days means that we shall see events unfold that no other generation will see. This is a highway, a path that few people have tread before. Many nations and people have seen troubles and turmoil. Israel saw the Messiah come and die on the cross, howbeit, many missed out for they did not believe. We read of the prophets, apostles, and the early church that all had their own road to walk, their own path to tread upon, and the Lord God to follow. Many times, in that road, the journey was tough, difficult, and the terrain was at times impassible, but with the Lord God, they made it through to the end.

Pro 16:17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.

Isa 35:8 And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

Proverbs speaks of the ‘highway of the upright’. Simply said that highway is to depart from evil. When a people live in a generation of wickedness, they have a choice; follow the highway of the upright or the path of the wicked. There is no other way. To follow the highway of the upright takes heart, a heart for the Lord God. In this highway we shall call it the way of holiness, the holiness of our God. This way of holiness the unclean shall not pass over it. But if there are those who want to find this highway, it can be found. If those who have found it, stray from that highway, there is a call to come back to the chosen path. That chosen path is the way of the Lord, the path of holiness, the highway of the upright. It is in this that Jeremiah warned his own people. Jeremiah said “return ye now everyone from his evil way.”

Before our Lord Jesus Christ appeared on the scene there was another one. This one was not the Messiah, but was one called in scripture as “the voice of him that crieth in the wilderness.” This one was sent before Christ to announce the coming Messiah and to identify him as the “lamb of God” that would take away the sins of the world. He also was sent to preach repentance and the baptism of John. To make the way straight in the desert, a highway for our God was John’s paramount calling. That wilderness was Israel herself. It was in this wilderness John found himself. John’s preaching would bring judgment, repentance, and a remnant would be found that had decided to walk in the holiness of God, that which Isaiah calls the “highway”, the way of holiness. John would pave the way for the Messiah who would come in greater power, anointing, and with a greater message. This message would divide Israel and be the point to which many in Israel would have to come to a decision.

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift a standard for the people.

Setting your Heart on the Highway for our God!

You and I today face the same thing. We are that generation which is called to ‘make straight in the desert a highway for our God.’ The wilderness for many of us is America, for others it is their own nations. Our message is the same as John’s as we tell people to repent and seek this God through his Son. Today we are saying “make your paths straight” by “walking in the holiness of our God.” He is coming soon, the True Word, the Alpha and Omega, the Son of God, and the one who has the keys to death and hell. We will see nations judged in a greater measure than at any other time in human history. This time in earth’s history will be such that this tribulation will be unlike any other at any time since man has been on the earth. As Jeremiah told Judah, “Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps, set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again O virgin of Israel, turn again, to these thy cities.” This was a call by the Lord to Israel to go back to Israel, for the same God who judges this nation would bring her back again. There would be a time when judgment would be over. This would be a time when all would be ended.

World Moving towards Global War -Prophecy Focus

In addition, this would be a time for restoration, forgiveness, fullness, and redemption. The people were to set their heart toward this, to set up road marks, and to make sure they would not lose their way. To be sure to set the road, the direction, and the compass to the place where God would bring them, restore them, and forgive them. You and I have the same command. To set our hearts, to love the Lord God our Father and his only begotten Son, our Savior Jesus Christ with everything we have.

We are to set our road marks, compass, and eye upon the goal. That place to which we are destined, the city of God, the city whose builder and maker is God. That place of restoration, forgiveness, newness, life, health, plenty, and the presence of God. That place of joy, laughter, hope, and the love of God. Gone will be evil, wickedness, wicked people, the devil, and all the lust of the world. The curse will be erased, and the glory of God will fill the earth.

The Highway of Hope!

This is the Highway of Hope of our God. That place, that way of Holiness in Christ which we must not forget nor ever leave. Our God is our hope. He is our strength; we must keep to him, as close as we can. We must purpose ourselves to be found in him, for he is our protector, and the one who will comfort us in all our tribulations. To cleave with our hearts, to know him, to walk in his ways, to be found faithful, and to set road marks, stones, and whatever else we can to make sure the road is clearly marked. For once we start on that road; the going will be a one-way road. No going back. We are soon to enter into that time of which it is spoken, “the night cometh when no man can work.” We must walk in the light of Christ Jesus in the night, allowing his Word, his Spirit, and our God to guide us. At times we may only see just to the end of the lights. We will not be able to see what is on the right or the left, for it is night, but we must push ahead in the light of our God so we may find our way safely to the end. Once on that road don’t take any other roads, don’t stop, and don’t look around; keep your eyes on the light and our God. Keep moving ahead in the night so you can safely reach that destination of which we all seek in Jesus Name.

Many people today have indeed gotten off the path. They are caught up in the whoredoms of the nations. They have drunk the wine of the whore. The judgment is upon the nations, and they cannot see it. Many today are weak and sickly, including those who lead these lost souls. The call of repentance has gone out; the Spirit of God is calling all who will heed the call.

Those who have ears to hear are responding by dropping their tools, their own ways, their lifestyles, and moving into the ‘way of holiness’, the Highway of our God. It is a one-way call. You either go God’s way or hit the road back to your own life of destructive ways. The call is out, and the offer is free to find the salvation of our God. But the cost of following our God could take all you have, including your life.

This is the time of traveling through wayward forests of humanity on the “highway of our God.” We are heading toward Zion, the City of God. It is a time that we travel at night, and in this travel, we spend time with our God. We get to know him, to hear him, to love him, and to see his hand deliver us. This will be the time you will remember all eternity. This is the time you were with your God during the time of the night, just before the coming of the Son of God, as you traveled the “highway of our God, with Hope.” This will be an unforgettable time when you truly came to know and understand this God and he came to know you, the one that he died for.

My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.

For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.

In closing my friends, let faith and hope fill you today. Set your heart upon your God and Savior and purpose with your heart and soul to walk in the “way of holiness, the highway of our God.” This highway will lead you to that city of which our God will be. But then, he was at your side the whole way. You already know that, for in the way traveled, you found peace, hope, faith, and yes, you’re Savior at your side leading you. In the darkest of times, in the times of hopelessness, in the time of desperation, somehow; you were brought through. It was not by accident; it was by his hand.
