Heavens Victory in Jesus Name is a phrase that delivers to us victory today. Christ did not come to deliver you tomorrow or next week from your sins. He is a right now Savior and the Lord of all Lords. Even the devil knows his Gates of Hell Shall do not Prevail against the Lord. In Jesus Name there is a firm hope for all people everywhere. Heavens Victory in Jesus Name is what the followers of Jesus Christ believe. It rings true in the heart of churches, the sermons, the songs, and the fellowship. Around the world Gospel news streams in and we report it weekly. Nigeria, North Korea, China, Yemen, Philippines, Sudan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya, India, Pakistan, and many other nations Christianity is a target. Christians being killed, thrown in jail, no rights, no voice, nothing! Zilch! Nada! Just hatred and persecution. Yet the bible says we have the victory. In fact, the Lord told Peter that the “gates of hell of hell shall not prevail”! We are living in a day and age so wicked, the righteous cannot survive, at the very least; this is what many seem to believe. The message that streams out from all corners of the world is this:
It is hopeless, so just give up or give in! We will tell you what you need! The worlds message and messenger is coming. He is the Son of Perdition! Also known as the Beast. The one name describes his job, leading people into destruction. The other name gives the source of who he is. Which is directly from the dragon, Satan, and father of lies. Choose your message and your messenger carefully!
Well, Christian let me tell you the battle is just beginning. In America just recently Benny Hinn came out and repented of his prosperity gospel teachings. Joyce Meyer did so not too long ago. We have had a church led by those in the prosperity realm declaring be all you can be. This means rich, fancy cars, big houses, and give to the Lord so you can be rich. Well, many did become rich. I was told not to long ago the famed Prosperity teacher Ken Copeland now in his eighties is worth over three hundred million dollars.
That has been the gospel and the discipleship in America since the sixty’s when I first heard of it. America has always been enamored with money, wealth, and power. But as I look around today, I find myriad examples of an awakening. Still, I find things disturbing in America. I have been told, read, and saw how many think the church in America is simply fine. People are being saved, more than once or twice I saw or read about this.
Yet as I see the evidence, it disturbs me. Our Christian leaders in the mega churches making millions and living high on the so-called hog of prosperity make me sick. Yet if so many in America believe in Jesus Christ, then why are we so decadent?
Let’s see, the early apostles were all martyred and many from the early church as well. Only John lived to an old age and died. Yet they did try to boil him in oil which failed. He lived! Around the world the hatred of America and Christianity is the worse it’s ever been. For over two decades we have been in the last days ministry and yet; the blood of Christian martyrs is flowing the deepest I have ever witnessed it. But it rings true, “the gates of hell shall not prevail” against the church. The ecclesia, the called-out ones. This means the believer not the bricks and stones and metals of modern hyped mega churches. Called out and saved are human beings not inanimate objects.
And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (19) And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth thou: Mat_10:2; Joh_1:42; Gal_2:9

It is true we are winning. But then why do we see so many dying? Could it be that our hope and life is not in this world? Could it just be that God loves us to die for the faith of Christ. Just this morning I saw a picture of a Muslim man, dressed in jihad garb. A bandanna around his head, a knife in his one hand, while he held his son in the other. Just a baby with a bandana. He was crying out and blood streaming down. The baby had been cut as well. This guy is a believer and a radical! Especially on Ashura Day, the day that commemorates the death of the Prophet Mohammed’s grandson, Imam Hussein. It is the day that mass self-flagellation goes on. It is a bloody rite and bloody business. Along with Jihad of Islam which never ends we find at the hands of Islam much Christian blood is spilled.
But it is not just Islam. It is governments like North Korea and China who oppose all religious exercise. It is religions like Hinduism, Islam, and others who have radicals that target Christians. But make no mistake, Christianity is not without its sins. Neither is any people innocent. Today the world is rife in blood. It is an Evil day! The very day we are told to do all to stand for Christ and the faith.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (14) Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Eph 6:13-14
If you are a carnal Christian. If you are caught up in the world. If you love your job, your house, and all your things; don’t worry. Why? Because by the time this is over the world will reject Christ and all his followers. Every soul will have to make a final decision to whom he will bow and serve. You will have to make one final decision as to whom to stand with. The world or Christ Jesus!
For Christians, you will not love the world more than your Christ. For Christians, your commitment to him will be the same as Revelation 12:11. So while we see the gates of hell will not prevail against the church it is because of our faith and the work of Christ on the cross.
We must stand. Having done all to stand, standing in Christ Jesus no matter what. Being set in Christ until we are delivered by a miraculous hand of our Savior. Making sure if we must die in Christ for our faith, then we must be found in Him. On whatever event, we shall be meeting him in the sky to be forever in his presence.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. (5) Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
1Jn 5:4-5
In all this let us remember this. John points out that the victory which allows us to overcome this wicked world and all the darts of the enemy is one thing. It is our Faith. That faith says that Jesus is the Son of God. There is no other victory. No other faith. No other savior! The world hates us for this. They could have this same victory, but they love darkness more. This is exactly what scripture tells us. People don’t come to the light because they love darkness more.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (20) For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (21) But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Joh 3:19-21
Now while this may seem impossible to get people to come to the knowledge of the truth, it is also a fact here. That fact is we report on many coming to faith and the knowledge of Jesus Christ from around the world. While America slips on the carpet of unbelief and hedonism; Muslims are coming to Jesus Christ in droves. In Iran, the persecution of Christians has increased because so many Muslims are coming to Christianity. In India, the church is facing persecution because so many Hindus are turning to faith in Jesus Christ. In China, the church was growing so much the communist run government worried that that their hold on China would be stopped. They ramped up persecution and are throwing myriads of true Christian believers in prison. We find nations like Eritrea putting forth legislation aimed at Christians. If someone comes to Christianity, then there will be trouble and jailtime. In many, many nations today this is going on. The devil is becoming afraid. The nations of men are afraid. One day they shall face this dilemma described in Revelation.
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
Rev 6:12-17
And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
No matter how you describe it, these are the last days. While we could say the world is in a mess, the Prophet Isaiah tells us this. That the curse will devour the earth. This curse destroys man, nature, and all therein. It stems from man’s fall. Read Isaiah chapter 24 and find Isaiah’s Apocalypse there. During the chaos, trouble, and the whirlwind of these troubled times you will find him. Jesus Christ our Lord is in charge and moving through the earth calling all those hungry for the true and living God. Too bad America is so cold to this. It is even worse when the church in America is so carnal, they will someday find out that what they have sought is temporal.
All those things in this world are being shaken as scripture warns it would be. Our duty is to walk in faith. Be persistently engaged with our Lord in obedience, prayer, and giving testimony. We truly do win this. Don’t let the battles detract you from the truth. We do win the war. The Earthly and heavenly kingdoms belong to the Lord Christ Jesus and our God and Father. It is where we all shall be. It is where we will live and spend eternity. While the battle is dark, chaotic, and at times the devil boasts he will win. The truth is, he has already lost, and he knows it. Too bad those who follow him have not a clue as to the true outcome here!
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
For this world passes away and all that is therein, including sinners and wickedness. In its place will be a new Kingdom where Jesus, Yeshua; will rule and reign. All those found in Him will be with Him forever.Rev 12:11-12
The focus of the early church was on His Kingdom! The phrase Kingdom of God is found seventy times in sixty-nine verses. The focus was not on the world, but the Kingdom of God. Why have faith in something that would fail? That is what the religions of the world think of Christianity until the Lord touches them. That is what America believes, that is; until the Lord touches them! What do you believe? If you honestly believe that there is a Victory in Jesus name, then start walking in Christ as if you do believe it! Take up the whole armor of God and rebuke that enemy and move on!
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Thanks Watchman…so, both Benny Hinn and Joyce Myer have repented of their prosperity gospel? Wow, I didn’t know that. I hope everyone who is caught up in that mess can see clearly now. It is encouraging to hear about these many people coming to Christ. With many conversions, the governments are nervous. I’m glad to see the Lord moving in those countries. We all would like to see a revival in America, to shake/wake up the masses. Our Lord’s peace to you and Tower…Amen.
