Faith of Jesus -We can clearly see the Faith of Jesus Christ daily in this world of evil. The days of lawlessness warned about by the Apostle Paul are clearly upon our generation. One day you could be safe, secure, and ministering for Jesus. Then the next day, you’re facing the Evil. But in this Evil, we can never leave the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. As well, he promised “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you!” We give you examples of the believers in Jesus Christ who are in a world of evil and persecuted. These are from notable examples during President Obama’s terms to President Trumps Presidency. Of note here is that the Faith of Jesus is and will be tried continually in the world where we live. Get off the couch Christian and realize your heritage and the prophetic day in which you live.

Let me give you one example here. This is Pastor Brunson. He had been ministering in Turkey for over two decades. He was the Pastor of a church and over the years it was fruitful. In one short stroke, during an attempted coup of Erdogan, suddenly things changed. Pastor Brunson was not involved in the coup, but the political turmoil snared him and his family. Many know this story. He was put in prison; it didn’t look like he would get out. One day in prison, the next day in the White House with President Trump. Things can change fast. Today the world is reeling in chaos, trouble, and a common persecution of Christians. The Evil to which I address is this persecution of Christians. But the Evil also encompasses much more. It directly comes from the Devil; also known as Satan or the Dragon. However, our Lord directly spoke of this and prayed for all his disciples to be kept from this Evil. We were not to be taken out of the world. We are His lights and His messengers of love and grace, who with faith face the nations of men. In this, we declare Christ Jesus. But here the Lord prayed the Father that he would “keep them from the evil!”
“While Pastor Brunson’s two-year ordeal has thankfully ended, we remain concerned for the state of religious freedom in Turkey, where numerous religious communities, such as the Alevis, Armenian Apostolic, Greek Orthodox, and others continue to face government interference and other restrictions,” said USCIRF Commissioner Kristina Arriaga. “The Turkish government must cease its meddling and work to ensure religious freedom for all its citizens.”
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

The Evil and its power aims directly at Christians. Nations
where we find persecution like China, North Korea, Indonesia, Afghanistan,
India, Pakistan, Iran, and many more take issue with Christians and what they
do! Christians are not hard to figure out. It is simple. They read the Word of
God, pray to the Lord, and follow His Word. In addition, they preach, teach,
and testify of Jesus Christ. It seems like the world today hates Christians.
That is, unless these believers simply shut up and do nothing. Even then they
have been targeted. This is the case in India where Christians are the lowest
of the low. Radical Hindus come out of the closet to hunt down Christians.
Recently, Pastor Nerren who had been traveling to India for over 17 years to train people to be Sunday school teachers found himself in trouble with authorities. To travel with other Pastors, he carried cash. This enabled him to carry out the work.
As the ACLJ relates: Pastor Nerren was carrying the funds to cover the expenses for the two conferences with one thousand attendees, as well as for expenses for the thirteen ministers for their 2-week trip. When the security agent saw the money, he called a customs agent over to assess. Pastor Nerren explained what the funds were for and answered all the questions from the customs agent.

The customs agent specifically asked if Pastor Nerren were a Christian and if the funds would be used to support Christian causes. To make it blunt, he is being held hostage in India now. Read more of this in the ACLJ relates link above. But here, the Indian State under India Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been considering clamping down on out of nation funds. As for Hindu’s persecuting Christians and other minorities, Prime Minister Modi said, “I have never heard of such incidents taking place.”
Furthermore, Modi belongs to the BJP. It is the political party in power. There has been a connection from the BJP to extremist groups who attack Christians. These groups are radical Hindu’s with an agenda. The fear of Christianity is rampant, especially in India. The goal of the radical Hindu agenda which is led by the Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP is to clamp down on Christianity.
BJP supported extremist groups that attacked Christians in incidents such as the 2007-2008 riots where Hindu militants torched houses and churches, killing 91 Christians and wounding 18,000 others. 60,000 Christians were left homeless.
In 2013, 100 churches or worship gatherings were attacked, and acts of violence were committed against 4,000 Christians.
In one particularly high-profile incident, in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, the head of a local right-wing Hindu organization announced that his group’s goal is to “free” India of Muslims and Christians in the next five years.

We have reported on many examples of Christians, former
Hindu’s that have faced forced conversion. If they don’t convert back to
Hinduism then they can lose work, lose their job, and even be cast out of the
village. Yet, India is just one among many nations that targeted Christians.
Simply put, this is just an aspect of the Evil in the world today. But Jesus
Christ warned us the disciple is not above his Master. He said, “if they have
persecuted me, they will persecute you.”
The wave of forced conversions marks a dramatic escalation in a two-month orgy of sectarian violence which has left at least 59 people dead, 50,000 homeless and thousands of houses and churches burnt to the ground. As neighbor has turned on neighbor, thousands more Christians have sought sanctuary in refugee camps, unable to return to the wreckage of their homes unless they, too, agree to abandon their faith.

Despite the troubles, Christianity continues to thrive. We have reported on many former Muslims and Hindu’s coming to Christ. While the world hates this, the issue of conversion and preaching the gospel is a target for many enemies of Christ. Even the Apostles faced hostility for preaching and winning people to Christ. Make sure you understand, the evil in the world hates Christ Jesus and those who follow Him. At the same time as the move of redemption finds its way into the most hostile areas, people are finding the Lord. Many times, through miraculous visitations, dreams, and events.
When we cover this news on our Visions broadcast for the Persecuted Church, it amazes me how these things go. While we find detrimental trouble in some areas, we also find miracles, signs, and people coming to the Lord. The world heaves in its troubles, turmoil, natural disasters, riots, wars, and other chaos.
For Christian believers’ troubles can come at any minute. Yet, their Lord is there. He has promised them peace. This is peace as the Lord gives it. In the world, we like quiet, peaceful, and serene surroundings. While this is nice, it won’t keep you when people are trying to murder you for your faith as you live in that quiet and serene atmosphere.
Here people living in these nice settings die anyway at the hands of those who hate them. So, it is true, here the peace of Christ Jesus is deep within you. This is that peace which passes all understanding. It requires you to abide in Christ, see John 15. Then grab ahold of his promise in John 17 to be “Kept from the Evil”!
It is True that even as martyrs, death has no hold on the followers of Jesus Christ. For they have the victory over the Devil. As Revelation 12:11 says “They Overcame him [the dragon, the devil, Satan] by the blood of the Lamb, the Word of their testimony, and they love not their lives unto the death!” Here we are to be full of faith, marching onward without fear; knowing the Lord will never leave us nor forsake us.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Finally, as Christians in America [I address this nation primarily] get fed up with this hateful, divisive, hedonistic nation; there is a message here. In addition, even other Americans are sick of the biting hatred that divides this nation. As bad as it may seem to you, things can get decidedly worse, especially for Christianity. Understand Oh Christian that our brethren in the nations of men do live in situations far worse than in America. In a few words here. They face death daily!
Don’t just sit in America and be caught up in the dung heap of derisive politics and unjust men. Pursue Christ and keep the Faith of Jesus Christ alive in your heart as you live in this World of Evil. It is also true; this world may be evil; but there are many fine people and places that are pristine. It is not all Hell yet! Nor has the great tribulation begun. The beasts of Revelation 13 have not appeared yet, neither has their mark. America has not been destroyed or overthrown.
So, we can, in America stand up and speak the truth in Christ Jesus. We can fight, so our children may live in this same nation. They can with that same faith be counted for Jesus Christ. We can fight and pursue Christ for others and for America. There is a tiny problem here. Many in America don’t want to change. Especially if it means grabbing ahold of Christianity as it was. Know that the Harlot church is alive and well in America. As with Jezebel so with the Harlot.
May God in his Judgment grant this nation mercy. By this
then, we can stand to help those persecuted and afflicted around the world even
more. We can also help heal America
through the Love of Christ and his power!

As Revelation 12:11 says “They Overcame him [the dragon, the devil, Satan] by the blood of the Lamb, the Word of their testimony, and they love not their lives unto the death!” Here we are to be full of faith, marching onward without fear; knowing the Lord will never leave us nor forsake us.
Finally, as Christians in America [I address this nation primarily] get fed up with this hateful, divisive, hedonistic nation; there is a message here. In addition, even other Americans are sick of the biting hatred that divides this nation. As bad as it may seem to you, things can get decidedly worse, especially for Christianity. Understand Oh Christian that our brethren in the nations of men do live in situations far worse than in America. In a few words here. They face death daily!
Don’t just sit in America and be caught up in the dung heap of derisive politics and unjust men. Pursue Christ and keep the Faith of Jesus Christ alive in your heart as you live in this World of Evil. It is also true; this world may be evil; but there are many fine people and places that are pristine. It is not all Hell yet! Nor has the great tribulation begun. The beasts of Revelation 13 have not appeared yet, neither has their mark. America has not been destroyed or overthrown.
So, we can, in America stand up and speak the truth in Christ Jesus. We can fight, so our children may live in this same nation. They can with that same faith be counted for Jesus Christ. We can fight and pursue Christ for others and for America. There is a tiny problem here. Many in America don’t want to change. Especially if it means grabbing ahold of Christianity as it was. Know that the Harlot church is alive and well in America. As with Jezebel so with the Harlot.
May God in his Judgment grant this nation mercy. By this then, we can stand to help those persecuted and afflicted around the world even more. We can also help heal America through the Love of Christ and his power!
