America Sins of Your Sister Sodom reaches a pinnacle for this modern generation. How does this judgment on Judah and being compared to her sister Sodom go against traditional ideas? Many of whom do not believe that judgment would or could hit this nation. In fact, they also do not believe that this nation could fall forever and, in its place, rise a nation more wicked than this nation today has ever been. The modern nations do not believe that man in his raised heights of technology, science, knowledge, and enlightenment are in any danger from any God. That is if they even believe there is a God. You could well make the case that if we are in so much danger in America from our sins why are not all the biggest Mega-Pastors and churches all warning us. America Sins of Your Sister Sodom
It was many years ago that I first heard of the Sins of Thy Sister Sodom. David Wilkerson was preaching it from the pulpit of Times Square Church. He made a note in the beginning to tell people that in the Sins of Sodom, i.e. Sodomy, homosexuality, or anything relating to these sins. We also find the Prophet Ezekiel did not specifically mention them. In fact, while in America we could say that this nation and many other nations indulge in and find this behavior okay, the condemnation of this is clearly spelled out in the Torah. The sins of Sodom, however, were three-fold at the top of this list. Make no mistake, Sodom had committed abomination, they were haughty [proud, arrogant, conceited]; so, God took them away as “I saw good” scripture says.
If you search the bible for ‘abomination or abominations’, you will find 175 matches in 165 verses. You can view some of these scriptures in Leviticus chapters 11, 18, 19, 20; just to name a few. But of course, you must believe that scripture is God’s Word and there is such a thing as sin anyway. The word Abomination found in Leviticus chapter 18 and verse twenty-two for instance has this word in conjunction with the warning “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination”! Today in many nations it is illegal or outrageous to even mention these things. The word abomination here means ‘something disgusting morally’, an ‘abhorrence’! While this warning is stark and in your face; it is not what is mentioned in the sins of Sodom. Yes, there was Sodomy going on in Sodom. But the real sins were not this.
The iniquity of Sodom was “pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of Idleness”! In this verse found in Ezekiel 16: 49 we find it was given to Judah. Ezekiel was a Prophet who was carried away in the captivity to Babylon. Ezekiel says in the “Thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river Chebar”, it was then Ezekiel saw Visions of God. The Prophet had been carried away to Babylon with all the others from Judah. But he was alive and had made it through the judgment on Judah.
As Keil & Delitzsch points out of this, the sins ‘were pride, satiety, i.e. superabundance of bread, and careless rest or security, which produced haughtiness and harshness, or uncharitableness towards the poor and wretched.
Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.

When a people are full, rich, and in need of nothing; just like the Lukewarm church found in Revelation chapter 3, beginning at verse fourteen; there is a warning and a following judgment. Today we find a people full of pride, arrogant, and many self-conceited in their ways. So much so, we do not recognize sins; however, we do recognize ‘rights. While the constitution of the U.S. guarantees our rights in the “bill of rights”, there are still many people today who want to destroy our way of life, our constitution, and push their socialized agenda. Today this is known as “globalism” or the latest term “Great Reset”! Believe me you won’t like their new reset!
However, today the nations are just like Judah was. Today we have our religions and our idols. We have our young women today who in pride will do whatever they want. While we have many young women and older who are respectable, others who are religious, and even more who are abominable; the men as well have followed the same path. All of it, led by a prideful arrogance that defies common sense and scripture.
I know my mother and mother-in-law; both of whom have passed on to glory long ago, would have considered these acts evil. Especially so when women do these things and push the bar into all things nasty and unladylike. But the day of the fairer sex is gone. The days of opening doors for a lady is gone. I could say there are no ladies left, but there are some left in this nation. I could say it is all the female race, but it is male as well. The problem is sin, rebellion, and thinking there is no such thing as sin. Today, though when met by correction many of the young women embolden by equal rights, education, and pride will do and say anything. Plus, the rarely listen! The same goes for the men. This is the same planet where women have been lining up to accuse men of molestation.
If you think the status quo of America is laid square and is in fine shape; then perhaps you’re not looking close enough. The women in the equal rights movement today, and the men who join them have been indoctrinated with a new modern-day mantra. It has thrown out the biblical values, the moral values, and the sex roles all together. They have demanded change and are willing to do anything to show they can be as distasteful, arrogant, prideful, and rebellious as anyone can be. Today from the standpoint of where I write, society both women and men are off bounds. Matter of a personal statement many today go even further to be as outlandish and different as they can be. Then proudly display their new persona to all who will give them time.
But the truth today is that there are those who are respected and honored. For it is the righteous woman, the godly woman, and the one who follows the Lord Jesus Christ in honor, love, and obedience. I have seen and documented the women voices who show utter hate and distain for the Godly biblical woman. Especially if she has a family. There is no respect for these godless women who do the things today that many are doing. It is offensive, it is godless, and many men take part in it; that does not make it right. Now I do not expect American women or the men to change, they won’t. In fact, they continue pushing godless ways, along with their haughtiness and pride. There is no fair sex anymore. There are few male role models out there.
I could go on to say that there are no equal rights anymore. It is about the liberal agenda, the “being woke” moment. It is about disrespect, godless, atrocious, and despicable things that are both presented and discussed in our media today. Most of this is shameful. That is precisely why Paul in second Timothy chapter three said these would be “perilous [dangerous, hard to bear with, fierce] times”! The list of sins he gives is a who’s who of what is going on in America right now. But make sure, the nations have drunk the same cup of abominable wine -read Revelation 17-18. The Judgment of God approaches not only this nation, but the nations.
Modernity’s Foolish Felinity ‘Latin felinus’

Thus, it is without hesitation that I unequivocally say that being modern and in a tech world, we find an ‘amoral’ quality. There are not morals, what is more; there is nothing out of bounds, out of touch, or out of reach here. The only law is that there is no law! We are free to be as wicked, sinful, and hateful as we can; no one can stop you. That is until the judgment of Almighty God arrives. As Paul said, “Knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men”! The American woman today can be found as shameless, full of pride, and godless. You cannot tell them anything. You cannot persuade them of judgment. You cannot lead them. They are the ones leading themselves into judgment and perdition. But the men are following them and even encouraging them in this.
Furthermore, the caveat here is that today there are Godly women, biblical women, and women who love their husbands and husbands who love their wives. Not all men are molesters, violators, haters; but are believers and follow the truths of the bible. There are true Men of God today in this nation! We have heard a few speak out. But more are needed to stand up! Thus, America; women, men, and children understand this truth. “Thou Shalt Bear Your Shame”! Just as Judah found out, so too America you will as well. Even now there are nations plotting your destruction and woe be unto thee Oh harlot!

And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore, I took them away as I saw good. Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.
Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they: they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.
Thou Shalt Bear your Shame
In the last Chapter of Revelation, we find the words “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still -Rev 22:11 KJV.” These phrases describe a society and a moral truth. If you want to be evil, then be that. If you want to be Righteous, then be that. But know this whatever you choose to do and be, the Lord comes quickly to give your reward. There are two rewards; one for those who are righteous and holy. Then there is a reward for those who are unjust and filthy! The question is, “Which one are you?”
I have spoken about this for many years. Worldwide this is true. Those who are the leaders in the nation can be directly blamed for what is going on inside that country. In North Korea it is the regime which oppresses their own people. In China it is the communist leadership who oppresses the Chinese people, especially Christians and Uyghurs. In Pakistan it is Islam and their leadership. In Africa, the fact that the leadership does nothing to stop radical Islamists like Boko Haram, Al Shabaab, Fulani, and other groups from killing Christians says it all. These are just a few examples. But the real point here is that when Christ returns, he will “destroy those destroy the earth Rev 11:18 KJV.” There are those groups and nations who would destroy the earth and those in it to get their objective of ruling the earth completed.
Isaiah warns “as for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and to destroy the way of thy paths Isaiah 3:12 KJV.” There is safety during judgment for the Righteous. Isaiah told the righteous this; “Therefore, to the righteous, it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings; but woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him Isaiah 3:10-11 KJV.”

In Conclusion, let me speak of Ezekiel’s vision found in chapter nine. It and the judgment it represents are a staunch message given to the prophet to give to the people. I have taught on this, wrote on this, and it is enlightening; not to mention frightening. In this judgment there were those who received a mark because they were sighing and crying for the abominations and sins that faced the nation. These were the repentant and righteous. While the others would find judgment, those with the mark were spared.
An Angel of Judgment was told to go through the city, he was accompanied by other Angels; all of whom were not to “let your eye spare, neither have pity”, but smite them all in this way. They were to slay the utterly old, young, maids, little children, and women. But those slayers were told “but come not near any man [or woman or child] upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary”! It says they began with the “ancient men who were before the house”. These were the ones who should have known better but did nothing to warn the people. The judgment began at Gods house. Further, there is this staunch warning “the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 1st Peter 4:17KJV”
Be warned Oh Christian, Oh Pastor, Oh America, if God spared not his own people, nor spared his own Priests, nor spared his own synagogue, and did not spare those who followed abominable ways; make sure he will not let the sun go down on your evil ways either! Be Forewarned America and all its people!

Then said he unto me, the iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.
And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.

Thanks Watchman…spot on, once again. This prideful/haughty/vain vulgarity is the norm today. This sliding has been a long time coming, beginning in the rebelliousness of the 1960s, and going downhill since then. Each decade saw a sinking to lower depths of depravity, with no end in sight. Actually, the end is the Lord’s Judgement…and deservedly so. Every time I read Ezekiel chapter 9, I get the willies…reading the Lord’s instruction to the angels, with their slaughter weapons, to spare no one…wow, to have pushed the Lord to that point, you really have it coming to you. And as always, we will continue to be a beacon of light, to a world wallowing in darkness and death. The peace of our Lord to you and Tower…Amen.
