Cup of Sorrows -The battle for truth and righteousness finds it in the times of Sorrows. Commonly called the Last Days or the Last of the Last days. It pits nations of men against the Lord and His anointed. It brings tools to this battle using governments, laws, actions, and wickedness. Today there are those who will stop at nothing to get their agenda fulfilled. Whether it be worldwide Islamic rule, Globalist socialism, or nations of hedonism; many would destroy to get the thing they cherish. In Christ Jesus, the light and the promise are of Hope, Healing, and Redemption is ever present.

Cup of Sorrows Truth of Righteousness
The Cup of Sorrows and the Truth of Righteousness is at the forefront of the end of days. A time when the nations of men who have been guiding their own path meets head on with the purpose of the Lord. As much as men decry religion or love it; there are choices. One is to follow your own way and ideals. The other is to look to the Lord God and our Father. It is our Father who gave his only begotten Son as Savior and Judge of all men. It is exactly this in Psalms Two, which warns “Kiss the Son lest he be angry”! The psalm begins with two questions. First, “Why do the heathen [goy, i.e. foreign nation aka the heathen or unbeliever] rage [tumultuous]?” Why do the unbelieving gentiles rage, become tumultuous or chaotic? What are they raging about? Yet the second question asks, “Why do the people [ nation or community as in ‘gather’] imagine [i.e. to murmur, meditate, mutter, speak] a vain [emptiness, worthless thing] thing?”
To whom do I speak, and testify, and they hear? Lo, their ear is uncircumcised, And they are not able to attend. Lo, a word of Jehovah hath been to them for a reproach, They delight not in it.
(Jer 6:10)
Moreover, the point here is that these people rage, imagine a vain thing by trying to overthrow the Lord and his will in the earth. Clearly the second verse tells us what they are doing. Pointedly the “kings of the earth” are setting themselves along with other “rulers” all of whom “take counsel [instruct, ordain, set] together.” They are orchestrating a coup of the righteousness and purpose of the Lord. Something Satan tried in the beginning and was cast out of heaven. Something Satan will try again leading the nations of men against the Lord, see the beast Revelation 13. This instruction and ordaining are meant to set the purposes of these kingdoms in the earth. Here we find the first global world order as described in this psalm. It is directly in opposition to the Lord God and to his Son. They want to break or cast away the bonds of the Word of the Lord and his righteousness from them. Later in the last verse of this Psalm we are given this warning “Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and ye perish!”
The nations of men have been in league with the devil to do their own bidding ever since the fall of man. In this we find China seeing it is okay to destroy Christian churches, kill, imprison, and push to end all faith that they see is a threat. As well, in India, Pakistan, and other nations the rule of law is in favor of their own religion and many times violates Christian rights and faith. But these things also affect other faiths as well.
(8) All these are the beginning of sorrows. (9) Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. (10) And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. (11) And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many. (12) And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. (13) But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. (14) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

China having been viewed by the west as more capitalist than communist is wrong. Today China is more communist than anything else. The west forgot China is not a friend of freedom nor religion. The Red nation continues tearing down Chinese Christian churches and jailing Christians and their leaders. They are indoctrinating a huge swath of Uyghur Muslims in concentration type camps. All religion is viewed as the enemy of Communist China. We find the same pattern in Iran as well where persecution of Iranian Christians is ongoing. As this goes on, we also find miracles occurring among Christian groups who are in the most hostile arenas towards the Gospel. In short, many times we find the “enemies of Christ coming to the Lord!”
We can then add many more nations who push legislative agendas. These agendas are and have been openly anti-bible and anti-God. For decades political leaders have been legalizing all kinds of so-called behavior in the west. Behavior which before, was considered abnormal and godless. At the top of this wickedness, we find America. But it occurs as well in the UK; not to forget the E.U. or Canada. Christianity’s influence is fading. The west is indulged in and is now flooded with hedonism and godlessness. This influence is streamed out online, in government laws, and through our educational systems. Here we find the Lord’s warning in Matthew 24 to the point. We find that “because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold”! Today as we see this American landscape as great as it has become, it is filled with iniquity which will destroy it.
We see in America and the nations the same instruction, counsels, and laws, which are ordained to follow the laws of the individual nations. In America, there is a divide between Christian faith and secularism. In many areas we find more of society openly hostile to the gospel. Even in America as we fight against the swathe of hatred, vitriol, and division; the gospel goes forward. A witness for Christ is found in not only Vice President Pence, but President Trump is many times seen being prayed for by Christians. Then Franklin Graham’s Decision American Tour has been in full swing. Kanye West Christian experience is being fueled by his own meetings and church services. But even as the gospel goes forward in America, the churches today here can become lukewarm and cold.
As the Cup of Iniquity is and has been poured out, the truths of Revelations warnings are also seen here. Not to mention the clear truth of Proverbs 14:34 which says “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people”!

This Cup from the Mother of Harlots drenches society in abominations. These come from the flood of demonic hordes unleashed. They become more powerful as the salt of the earth, the church becomes lukewarm and cold. It is well predicted in prophecy that the end of days is filled with sorrows. Sorrows flowing out of the cup which is embraced by the governments and cities of the world. Then these councils of men and women legislate laws which make formerly unmentionable sins okay. From sodomy to late term abortion; to fornication and murders, to adulteries and other evils; today anything goes. There are no sins, no abominations, and surely no penalty for doing such things.
So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. (4) And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: (5) And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

In the west, we find hedonism, i.e. “The pursuit of pleasure or sensual self-indulgence!” We do this because we are free to do, live, eat, drink, and be merry. Not all nations are free to do these things. Our freedom as such, to do this; will destroy our nation, lifestyles, and all we hold dear. The cup which is poured out is upon all nations. This cup has many abominations. This includes religions, idols, and many other evils.
But these things also affect other faiths as well. In short, abominations of the nation’s come from a cup that bring evils to a nation that suits its culture. But in all this, evil is evil; and righteousness is righteousness. This is the rub, the issue, and the very item which is the battle for the souls of people today. All nations have drunk of this wine, none are innocent, and many have also waxed rich through these things. The judgment of God will find the Whore, the nations, and all people subject to the fact that the sins of men and nations will reach its tipping point. That point which the evils of men and nations are so bad, judgment is the only alternative to saving man.
For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. (4) And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (5) For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

The Cup of Sorrows and the Truth of Righteousness
In conclusion, find below the Seven Points of Promises that are for the Saints in these last days. The cup of sorrow will find all those who like those in Psalm two rebelled against the Lord and His anointed. They will find sorrow and death. Christ Jesus came to save sinners and redeem man from the death curse of sin. However, many will not come because they love darkness. But to those who do walk in the Lord and keep his Word, by faith never giving up; there is much reward. The Truth of Righteousness is, we are to walk in the Light as He is the Light. By this we have fellowship with Him and his blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Read 1st John chapters 1-5; John 1-3, 10-17; Revelation 21-22.
Seven Points of Promises that are for the Saints in these Days
Points and promises are meant for the Saints. These are those who trust in our Savior Jesus [Yeshua] Christ. It means they are not alone. God is in charge, even in the times of evil. Further, the Lord is not finished with the announcement of the Gospel nor of saving sinners.
Good News Chariots coming
As the old Christian Song says, “Good News Chariots Coming”, so it is true! They are multitudes and are coming with our Lord! We Win!
The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.
(Psa 68:17)
Good News the Lord knows them that are His
No doubt, our firm hope is that the Lord knows those who love and trust him. He knows what they are going through and he is faithful to keep them.
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
(2Ti 2:19)
Good News His kingdom of Righteousness is coming
It is a righteous kingdom that has removed all evil. No more death or sorrow. No more wars and bloodshed. Peace, righteousness, and being in the presence of our Lord. Yes, a Kingdom of Righteousness is coming. Don’t give up or give in!
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Good News He will deliver his Saints
We are kept by the power of God. It is activated by our faith and our being found in Him. With trials and dangers, yet the Lord Overcame and we are also Overcomers through Him who died for us!
1Pe 1:5-9
(5) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
(6) Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
(7) That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
(8) Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
(9) Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
Good News His Saints will reign with Him
You are not just going to sit on a cloud and play a harp for eternity. You will be with an exceptionally large group. The nations of them that are saved. These came out of every kindred, tongue, people, and nation. All will be Kings and Priests unto God, reigning on the earth.
Rev 5:9-10
(9) And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
(10) And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Good News one day Goodness and Righteousness will triumph over Evil
While it seems overwhelming with the evil, chaotic events worldwide, and continuing troubles; there is hope. This is the Lord’s battle and it is His Kingdom. He will give to all men the reward for the works they have done. He will also destroy all those who destroyed the earth.
And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
(Rev 11:18)
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
(Rev 21:3-4)
Good News You will be rewarded and live forever with the King
We are to keep on keeping on! We must be standing for the Lord and doing all to stand. We are the overcomers, and we face these ends of days. But in Christ Jesus, we will inherit all things and be the Sons of God.
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
(Rev 21:6-7)

Thanks Watchman…spot on analysis. As you have clearly pointed out, the NATIONS are turned against God. You have provided the Scriptur references to this. One more that I might add, is Psalm 9 where the Lord turns all of the nations into hell. Now think about this, we are talking about entire NATIONS that oppose God. That is a tremendous amount of people, confirming what Jesus said in Mathew…broad is the path that leads to destruction, and many there be who go there in. America is soaked in hedonism, drunk with personal pleasure. Churches are compromised. I saw the religious correspondent on Fox, claiming to be a follower of the Lord, with a teen aged girl, who claims to know the Lord, and yet they both were thrilled about bono, this pint sized pip squeak from the band u2, strutting on stage with horns and his face painted with make up, calling himself mephistophilis…blatant blasphemy. There will be a lot of sorrows, on the Day of the Lord. Our Lord’s peace to you and Tower…Amen.
