Christians Unvarnished Truth Today stands as a direct challenge to today’s society. There is no doubt as the coming of the Lord approaches, the nations of men fall further under the deception of darkness. We stand at a hallmark time when the untouched, pure truth of the Word of God which cannot lie heralds’ redemption! In the world today there is a battle. There are many truths and many gods in the world. In the Spirit world there are countless liars who abide only to deceive. We are the ones who stand direct for the one truth that sets people free and gives them Hope. As the Children of the Highest God and our Father through Jesus Christ, we are to herald the truth of the redemption available through Faith in the name, person, and work of Jesus Christ on the cross. This is the battle; this is the war; one we fight daily. The weapon of our warfare is spiritual, with the Word of God and Prayer.

Christians Unvarnished Truth Today
Christian, stay firm and don’t move away from the unvarnished Truth of the Gospel. I speak of that Word of God, which is written and is laid open before us in scripture. It is this which is Truth. Much of Truth, God’s truth is hidden between or underneath layers of denominational doctrines and platitudes of men. As Christ Jesus said of the Jews in his day, “by the traditions of men you have made the Word of God of no effect”! It is here today where society has no fear of God before their eyes. The lawlessness today has been prophesied and in fact one day all of mankind will stand before the Lord for their deeds.
(18) There is no fear of God before their eyes.

We must as Christian believers take our stand and not move away from the Truth. That which Christ taught the Apostles, the Apostles taught the early church, and that which the church knew grew until error and false prophets and teachers entered in. As Paul said in Acts 20:29; “For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.” This occurred after his death and after all the apostles. Today we are long removed from that day and hour when the church was truly united and there was truth that was fresh and uncorrupted.
Today much of what churches call truth is the Word of God tuned to this generation and to the hearers. Preachers teaching those things which the listeners want to hear. Even today we find churches and church leaders departing from the truth that Christ Jesus taught the Apostles. The truth for today’s Christian is in the Word of God and led by the Holy Spirit they can find this truth if they seek the Lord with all their heart. But the error of society is that they along with the church think they can live anyway they want. This is a lawless society and one which does not like Godliness nor holiness [without which no man shall see the Lord]. For an overview of the deeds of the flesh and the works of the spirit see Galatians chapter five, verses 16-26. For a warning on this see Revelation chapter twenty-two, verses 7-17.

Yet the most urgent thing for all believers to do is be firm in the faith and testimony of Jesus Christ. Whether you have a church or not, a favorite preacher or teacher or not; be sure to stay firm, “Firm in the Word of God”. Below find 7 tips for the Christian to keep in mind when living for Jesus Christ in these last days.
(7) Therefore, I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

It matters not at all where you may live, in America or out of America. There may be persecution, war, violence, death, prison, or a calmer situation. In America we have been free to practice our faith, yet in this nation for all the Christian witness, we are a lawless nation with a godless and rebellious society. We find a form of godliness in many areas and churches, but without the power. That is, without the power to live free from the lust of the flesh, the desires of the mind, and walk in the ways of the Lord.
It is important here to have that relationship in Christ Jesus so that you can daily seek him, looking unto the Lord to live a daily life for him. It is here that we must live above the things of the world and not give into the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. As Paul told the Philippians, “Our conversation is in heaven, from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. But Paul also noted that “many walk as if they are enemies of the cross of Christ.” These are earthly Christians, who mind earthly things. Beware of this. We are to mind “heavenly things” even though we live in the world!
(18) (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
(19) Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
(20) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
(21) Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Keep the Word of God in your Heart
(16) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
(17) And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

In this information age of the internet, we have tons of information and lots of things that can get our attention. But the goal of which we should be seeking is to make sure in all our getting; we get the Word of Christ [Word of God] here into our spirit. We need to be applying, walking in it, learning from it, and being corrected by it. But we also use the Word as God would have us. It is as Christ Jesus told the devil, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” Be sure that you and I today need to stand on the word, pray the word, speak the word, and believe the word of God. This is paramount today for Christians living in these perilous end times of lawlessness.
(12) That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
(13) For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

It is here that this word be understood that it is the pure, unequivocal Word of God. It is not the words of mere men. We could go into a whole biblical treatise here on the veracity and inerrancy of scripture but know this that the bible you have is your copy of God’s word. There is another Word, that which is incarnate and that is Christ Jesus. In addition, the Word is also written down in heaven, spoken by God, in the hearts of Angels, and in the hearts of the spirits of just men and women who have gone on to be with the Lord.
If you cannot accept it as such, good for all faith and practice and that which God has given us as the pure Truth and nothing but the truth; then you will have problems exceedingly. This Word which we read, use, memorize, quote, and walk in can bring that which is not, into that which is. In other words, when you need a miracle, the Word of God can bring you into the realm of that miracle.
(11) Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

In today’s lawless society it is imperative that we also be “holy in all manner of conversation [the way we live] and in this we also are godly. In all things Peter tells us, further he goes on to say that we must be diligent, not sloppy, not backslidden, and certainly not unbelieving.
Further we certainly must not reside in unbelief in our walk for the Lord. We are to be at peace with the Lord, having repented of our sins, forsaken the ways of the flesh, and walking in a manner that will assure us of true peace with the Lord. It is in Revelation where we find John writing to the Seven Churches. Here we find messages from the Lord concerning those in these churches. There are warnings, messages of repentance, and assurance of a reward if we do as the Lord says. In all these things, one phrase stands out repeatedly. It is “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” We find this in Revelation 2:7, 2:11, 2:17, 2:29, 3:6, 3:13, and 3:22. Be sure today the Lord is expecting Christians and those churches where they attend to truly “Hear what the Spirit saith unto the Churches”!
(14) Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Keep the Faith and your Trust alive in Christ Jesus
(6) As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
(7) Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
(8) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Today is a society which Paul warns in Second Thessalonians and chapter two that this generation will “reject the love of the Truth”! The Love of the Truth is the gospel, given by the Lord God, who sent his only begotten Son to die on the cross for the sins of humanity.
The society of nations today is lawless and is fighting God. They reject the truth and the gospel. In short today’s society which parallels the Days of Noah is one which is walking how they see fit. They reject the Word of God as given to us. The problem with Society is men and women. The problem with men and women is sin. The problem with sin is that it brings death. The problem with death is that you will face the lake of fire. But all these problems are fixed through the blood of Jesus Christ who died for our sins and was resurrected from the dead. He is coming again as Lord of Lords and King of Kings, meanwhile; you and I are to keep our faith and our trust alive in Christ Jesus who died for us. So as a result, we find Paul’s words to Timothy important here.
(10) For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

Paul said, “We both labour and suffer reproach because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.” The world hated our Savior, it hates us as well. We are to labor and do so for the Lord and if in that labor for him the world hates us, persecutes us, or comes after us; so be it. We are his witnesses in these last days to a lost and dying world that is in rebellion with the Lord.
(21) Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
(22) And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

In our labor for the Lord, you will need Gods Word, Gods Spirit, plus his hope and peace in believing. The world does not have our God nor his provision. They could, but they reject it. You and I have help and hope in our God. This is paramount, for if you need a miracle, he is there to meet your needs. This is important for the day is coming when you will need a miracle of provision to live your life. We are to have faith! We are not to doubt God. We are to be in prayer [with fasting] and seek the Lord believing that whatsoever we ask in his name; we shall receive. It is here that you must ask, you must believe, and at times bind the devil from those requests. You need to call the miracle in and stand up believing that in all that God has said, he means, and he will supply your every need as you walk in him.
In short, to live; you must not “Doubt God even for a minute”! If you do, confess it, forsake it, and seek the Lord again for that need!
(7) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Today as the world is united through the internet, social media, and the governments of men, we must seek the Lord first. The world is headed to an even tougher place to live for Christ Jesus than ever before. There will be a one world government, headed by the Son of Perdition: the Beast. But there will also be total rejection of the Christian gospel and the Savior of all men Jesus Christ. There will be whore Christian churches worldwide that will go along with the status quo. It will be a time when Christians must stand for the Lord Jesus Christ no matter what.
(1) Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Furthermore, we have all seen how wicked and utterly devoid of reasoning radical Islam is. We have seen the horrific slaughters done by ISIS, Boko Haram, Al-Shabab, Al-Qaida, the Taliban, and other radical Islamic groups. We know the history of the crusades and the massive battles for the faith. We are in that same place today. However, the world denies the threat of Islam as they deny the gospel today in many places. But you and I must not fear men, or governments; but must understand God has given us the Spirit of God which enables us with his Truth, His Love, His power, and a sound mind. We are to perfect holiness in the fear of God. In other words, walking as Christ walked, and do so knowing that God is the judge and will hold all men accountable for the works they do.
Keep the Hope, for the Lord is coming
(12) Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
(13) Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

There are times that we all get tired of the sin, iniquity, and lawlessness we are surrounded by. The stress today on families, Christians, and those who want to live a peaceable life is at an all-time high. You simply cannot escape what is going on in the world. When we think that things cannot get any worse, they do get worse. When you don’t think men and women can be anymore wicked, you find out something they have done that is far worse than anything you have seen.
These are the times that not only stress the soul, but times that make you want to fly away to some forgotten corner of the world. Far away from the trying times, danger, stresses, and hate of today. While we cannot fly away from it all, we may be able to take a vacation. But eventually most people must live with all this going on. It is here that we must kindle the hope in us, looking to the time when our Lord returns. You and I have an eternal Hope in heaven. This one Hope is assured to us through the blood of Christ and our faith in him. Be sure that neither the devil nor man can take away our hope! We can relinquish it and give up; but if you are truly in the Father through Jesus Christ; no man can take you out of his hand.
Therefore, we must not allow men, nations, or the terror that is in the world to trouble us. For the Lord God is in us through his Son Jesus Christ. We have Hope, we have eternal life, and we have a reward. We must not faint and give up hope, for our Hope is in the Lord who is coming soon. He will come for us and gather us unto himself. In this we can be certain. Therefore, live each day in faith, with hope, and do not ever give up! If you fall, he will lift you up. If you sin, you have an advocate with the Father and you can ask for his forgiveness.
(14) But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
(15) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
(16) Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

It is imperative that you and I as the True Believers and those who are to herald God’s Truth of Jesus Christ and the Gospel to the world are not found wanting. Don’t be misled by politics or religions! We are the Truth, and we are the ones with the Saving Truth. This is the end of days struggle for the souls of men. Make no mistake, other religions are fine as far as religions go; but they do not save nor can they!
We are the ones With Truth for we serve “The Way, the Truth, and the Life”, and he is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. We love all men; we love only one God and Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. We hate Sin and will herald God’s truth no matter what men may say!
This is the Gospel and the Ultimate Truth!

Thanks Watchman…yes, a whole boat load of truth here, praise the Lord!! We are definitely to walk in the Lord, not as the world walks. All unrighteousness, all decievableness, whose reward is their bellies. Total hedonism, total brazeness. From such, turn away. As you said, the closer our walk with the Lord, the stronger our faith. You and I can attest to the miracles that the Lord has done for us. Worldly people just can not grasp the miracle working power of our Lord, but it is true!! And the hedonists set their sites on us, laying snares, digging pits, raising false accusations etc anything to try to steal our peace of mind, our money, our joy. These are the predators, and they aimed their vile hatred on Jesus Himself, the Apostles, and us. But by faith, we bind satan and his workers of iniquity, and walk steadfast with the Lord. His promises, as stated in His matchless Bible, are really all we need. All of the peace and love of our Lord be with you and Tower…Amen.
